Steve McQueen's 'Codes Of Conduct' Gets A Limited Series Order at HBO

As if you didn’t have enough reasons already to tune into HBO, maybe this one well get you to add the channel to your cable package or sign up for their new streaming service: Steve McQueen has a limited series on the way.

Deadline reports that HBO has given an order to “Codes Of Conduct,” a six-episode limited series that will be fully directed by McQueen, from a script co-written with Matthew Michael Carnahan (“World War Z“). Starring newcomer Devon Turrell, Paul Dano, Helena Bonham Carter, and Rebecca Hall, the show centers on Queens youth Beverly Snow, who breaks into Manhattan’s elite high society, a world much different than the one he was born into. This sounds like lots of rich thematic material for McQueen to play with, and we’re excited to see what he’ll do with six hours to tell a story.

No word yet on an airdate, but just tell us when it debuts and we’ll be there.
