‘Stranger Things’: Shawn Levy On The Show’s Origins, A 'Darker' Season Two And Franchise Possibilities [Emmys Podcast]

Shawn Levy has had an incredible year. As a director, Levy is best known for family-friendly hits such as the “Night at the Museum” and “Cheaper By The Dozen” franchises. As a producer, Levy’s career has taken a remarkable turn. He also produced Denis Villeneuve’s “Arrival” which earned eight Academy Award nominations including Best Picture, Levy’s first Oscar nod. “Stranger Things” also became an end of year awards player taking the PGA Award for Episodic Television Drama and the SAG Award for Ensemble in a Drama Series.
