If you ever thought the films of Terrence Malick were starting to look more and more like perfume ads, well it turns out the director’s style is perfect for selling a fragrance.
The director has teamed up with Angelina Jolie, and helmed a promo for Guerlain that might look and sound very familiar. Well, that’s because in addition to Malick’s unmoored, spinning camera, the spot also recycles Andy Quin‘s “Awakening” from the “To The Wonder” trailer. But before you get too cynical, the revenues generated from the campaign will be donated to charity, so it’s all for a good cause. Check out the ad and let us know what you think in the comments.
