Trailer For 'Riverdale' Season 2 Welcomes The Angel Of Death

While I’ve never seen a single episode of “Game Of Thrones,” I’ve seen all of “Riverdale” so far. That’s right, the dark Archie Comics adaptation is my jam, and the title town is my Westeros, which means I can’t wait for the second season. I’d definitely wager that some of our readers are (secret) fans of the show too.

Spoilers ahead if you’re still catching up, but at the end of first season, Archie’s dad, played by a weathered Luke Perry, was left with a bullet in the gut. The assailant? Unknown. Well, the new trailer for season two picks up where season one ends, with Archie’s dad whisked into the hospital, and the kids left with another mystery to sort out.

“The show’s meant to get a lot darker as it goes forward, and I’m excited by that,” Skeet Ulrich, aka Jughead’s Dad, told AV Club. We’re pretty excited too.

“Riverdale” returns to the CW and Netflix on October 11th.
