Trust The Force In New Trailer & TV Spots For 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story'

Disney is making sure that whatever you do this Thanksgiving weekend you don’t forget “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is opening in a few weeks, and that tickets go on sale first thing Monday morning (yep, 12:01 AM Eastern). And if that’s not enough, there’s yet another trailer for the movie, plus a new handful of TV spots.

The marketing campaign is now reaching the level where I’m just going to have to shut it all off, because it feels like we’re seeing a little too much at the moment. But all you need to know is that this spinoff movie is a war story, following the Rebellion as they steal the plans for the dreaded Death Star. Here’s the official synopsis:

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” opens on December 16th.rogue_one_a_star_wars_story_ver32_xlg
