This is what could be considered the second taste from Against Me!'s new album and major label debut, New Wave. Fans were treated to a live version of "Americans Abroad" on their live album released last year, and now there is "White People for Peace," part of a tour only EP available on their current Mastodon tour.
This single is a pretty great song that is right on par with the rest of their material. The chorus is memorable as they come, and it gets better with each new listen. The song is a mid/up tempo punk rock number. Tom Gabel's voice is raw and melodic, and I think this song has what it takes to become a hit.
The B side, "Full Sesh," is a reggae/ska song with a rock and roll chorus. I like the bassline, but the song as a whole isn't as strong as its other side. There are some really good moments, but it is a bonafide B side.
