Revolution Summer is back. End of a Year kick out with three songs that have that early emo post harDCore sound ala Embrace and Rites of Spring, but with their own blend of rock and roll and vocal phrasing. The guitar noodling is especially enjoyable to listen to, though not as fun as Patrick Kindlon’s voice. Its a half yell/half talk and it works so well over the music, which never overdoes anything. This is laid back and in your face at the same time, and there is a true sense of meaning in the lyrics. This is well worth the price of admission.
