Gauze play speedy punk rock with hardcore tendencies. They blaze through these six songs like nothing, making great music sound so easy. The lyrics are impossible to understand, although I'm not sure if thats because they're in Japanese or because I can't make them out. Either way, I like what they do on this record.
The coolest thing about this 7" is that it is to be played at 45 RPMs, but if you slow it down to 33 RPMs, they kind of have a stoner rock feel to them, or at least a really mid tempo crusty punk feel. I like the songs on the second side a little better, but this is an all out solid record.
