Lifetime-Two Songs
Decaydance
November 21, 2006

Granted, I'm reviewing this two song seven inch after the release of Lifetime's first full length album in almost ten years (which I have yet to purchase), but this is still worthy of reviewing, even if versions of both these songs ("All Night Long" and "Haircuts and T-Shirts") are available on the full length.

This is the same Lifetime that has become huge in the past couple years, even though (at the time) they weren't a band). Their style hasn't changed, even if their label has. The songs are still fast, melodic and catchy as all hell. Ari Katz' vocals are the same nasally, half pronounced lyrics with incredibly catchy sing along style vocal lines. Everything is still upbeat and catchy, an obvious and motivational kick to the ass to the current punk scene. To put it simply, Lifetime haven't skipped a beat.
