Fat Mike shows some sympathy for the people living in New York, offering up drugs and alcohol because its so expensive to live there. The song itself is standard, mid tempo NOFX punk with the snottiness of Fat Mike's vocals. Its not a great song by any means, but its still good enough to be enjoyable and warrant a few extra listens.

I heard "I,Melvin" on their live album. Its a fun little polka sounding song with Melvin singing accompanied by an accordian. The lyrics are funny, and the song isn't that bad and gives good insight to the people unfamiliar with Eric Melvin.
