So, do you have room for one more superhero movie this summer? Iron Man and Superman have dashed up onto the big screen, this weekend Wolverine gets his claws out, and closing the chapter on the summer of spandex is “Kick-Ass 2.” And with the movie a few weeks away, a couple new clips have arrived to provide a peek at the R-rated mayhem that’s brewing.
Our amateur heroes face the threat of The Mother Fucker this time around, while also trying to keep their identities hidden as a crackdown begins on masked vigilantes. And so below you’ll see Hit Girl doing her best to evade detection from her cop Dad, while Kick-Ass himself is surprised to find he’s got a friend who, uh, kicks ass too. It’s all keeping in the tone of the first movie, so we imagine fans will be more than happy for another dose of the same.
