Watch: 2 New Clips From 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' Plus Trailer For Robert Rodriguez's 'Director's Chair'

Sin City: A Dame to Kill ForRobert Rodriguez has been busy lately. He’s launching the TV network El Rey, he’s finally delivering a long-awaited sequel, “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.” Both projects have yielded news recently.

Back in May, the Rodriguez-hosted show The Director’s Chair premiered on the Univision-owned network. Described as “Inside The Actor’s Studio” with directors, the program has seen Rodriguez holding hourlong conversations with John CarpenterGuillermo Del Toro and Rodriguez’s “Grindhouse” co-director Quentin Tarantino. It’s rare to have a long-form interview with a director on TV, and it’s even more enticing for another director assuming the interlocutor’s role. The installment featuring Tarantino premieres on August 27th. Watch the trailer for the show below, alongside some clips of the Carpenter and Del Toro interviews.

Turning to Rodriguez’s main job, a new clip from the ‘Sin City’ sequel has been posted online (via ComicBookMovie.com) centering on Jamie Chung as Miho, a character that was played by Devon Aoki in the first film. It’s a very short but action-packed clip, featuring decapitations, machine gun fire and some archery for good measure. In addition is another clip with Jessica Alba and Mickey Rourke facing some bad dudes, and Rourke again getting into some action. A pair of new TV spots have also surfaced, with one focusing heavily on Eva Green’s Ava Lord, the titular dame. Watch the spots and the clip below. “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For” hits theaters August 22nd.
