As you might’ve noticed, we’ve been consumed with Cannes coverage, particularly over the last 48-72 hours, as the festival wrapped up. So we’re just poking our head above water now, and while many have seen this already, for those who haven’t, you’re in for a treat.
“Saturday Night Live” wrapped up its 41st season over the weekend, with what many are calling the best sketch of the whole year. I don’t know, ‘SNL’ tends to have a pretty high miss-to-hit ratio so that’s maybe a low bar, but either way, “Dead Poets Society” parody “Farewell Mr. Bunting” is definitely memorable. Fred Armisen stars in the sketch that riffs on the “O captain, my captain” scene and then….well, it’s best experienced fresh. Watch it above.
