Watch: Geeks Rule In New Trailer For Sundance Winner 'Dope'

DopeThough it premiered during the dead of winter at the Sundance Film Festival, "Dope" was made for summer. And Open Road know it, taking the Sundance winner for Best Editing and lining it up to land just when schools let out and the temperature starts to rise. So sit back and kick it with this new trailer for the Park City sensation.

Starring Shameik Moore, "The Grand Budapest Hotel" star Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Blake Anderson, Zoë Kravitz and rapper A$AP Rocky, the crime-comedy follows a trio of geeky teens in Inglewood, California, who get in over their heads and mixed up with drug dealers and have to set things right to stay out of serious trouble. And buzzing with a "supercool vitality," this is one to put on your must-watch list.

And Hollywood has also been paying close attention. Director Rick Famuyiwa ("The Wood," "Brown Sugar," "Our Family Wedding") was just tapped to helm HBO‘s Anita Hill/Clarence Thomas movie starring Kerry Washington, "Confirmation."

"Dope" arrives on June 19th. Watch below.
