While Lucy Liu hasn't really disappeared — she's been working steadily — her star power hasn't quite been at the heights it was circa "Charlie's Angels," but it certainly seems like she's blazing a comeback path. She's currently starring on CBS' Sherlock Holmes series "Elementary" and next month, she gets back into "Kill Bill" mode with RZA's "The Man With The Iron Fists." And a new teaser gives us a bit more of a peek of what she'll be bringing.
Following the Bronze Lion trailer yesterday, a new character spot her role has Madame Blossom has arrived. It's short, but delivers with it a few more bits of footage into the wild eyed world the Wu-Tang Clan member is putting together for his directorial debut. Liu is both savage and sexy it seems, and definitely stands right alongside the assorted crew of fighters and Russell Crowe's villain, offering him a warning not to step over the line. And if that isn't enough for you, here's a staggering seven TV spots for the movie. No one can say Universal isn't marketing this.
