Sure, summer is a big season for movies. It’s also a big deal for music, too, specifically festivals. The next few months are crammed with huge events from coast-to-coast, around the world, and those stages, lights, and more don’t go up by themselves. There’s a whole other world behind the scenes, and that’s where Cameron Crowe turns his attention in the upcoming Showtime series “Roadies.” A new trailer is here to bring you rock ‘n roll, and of course, a little bit of drama.

Starring Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino, Imogen Poots, Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Colson Baker a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly and Ron White, the series will dive into the lives of roadies who are traveling around the country with a hugely successful band from gig to gig. Here’s the official synopsis:

Roadies gives an insider’s look at the reckless, romantic, funny, and often poignant lives of a committed group of roadies who live for music and the de facto family they’ve formed along the way. The series chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music’s unsung heroes and pays homage to the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring for the successful arena-level group, The Staton-House Band.

The 10-episode first season of “Roadies” kicks off on June 26th.
