Watch: Rosamund Pike Is Back In Amazing Amy Mode In Trailer For 'Return To Sender'

Return To SenderLast fall, Rosamund Pike gave cinema the classic kind of crazy we haven’t seen in some time with her turn as Amazing Amy in David Fincher‘s "Gone Girl." Ruthless, cold, and calculating, she knew how to rig any situation to her benefit, leaving a string of men ruined in her wake. And now, the actress is once again going down the path of vengeance in "Return To Sender," and the first trailer is here.

Granted, this movie doesn’t look particularly good. Directed by Fouad Mikati ("Operation: Endgame"), and co-starring Shiloh Fernandez, Rumer Willis, and Nick Nolte, the story follows a woman who is viciously assaulted, and then goes on a mission to reclaim her life. It looks like pure B-movie material, but without the precision of Fincher, or the subtext in his movie. But still, Pike looks to be acting circles around everyone else, so maybe it’ll be worth tuning in for that.

"Return To Sender" opens in the U.K. on May 22nd. There’s no U.S. distributor yet.
