Watch: Street Justice Takes A Dark Turn In New Trailer For Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ Season 2 With The Punisher & Elektra

Charlie Cox in "Daredevil"

Marvel’s “Daredevil” on Netflix, introduced us to Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer by day who makes the decision to become a hero by night, overseeing the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York. But season one certainly toyed with the notions vigilantism for the hero, and the morally gray and philosophical conflict is further explored in season two, which revolves around the question, when does right become wrong? Murdock’s double life gets doubly complicated by a vigilante rival, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), aka The Punisher, who takes things too far.

“This is a real responsibility and a real honor for me, and I just hope [with] all the hard work, that we got some of it right,” Bernthal recently said in an interview with Marvel.

“For me, it’s to be completely unapologetic and to move forward one hundred percent and not concern yourself," he continued. "One of the beauties of television is that you have enough time that you don’t need to play everything in every moment. When you’re involved in something that’s very brutal and you know your audience is going to abandon you because of your actions, don’t shy away from that. Just do it. Don’t make it a half-measure; don’t take your foot off the accelerator. Go full force, and trust that you will have the opportunity down the road to show why [you did that].”

“Daredevil” stars Charlie Cox, Jon Bernthal, Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), and Scott Glenn (Stick). Marvel’s “Daredevil” — all thirteen one-hour episodes — premiere globally on March 18, 2016 at 12:01am PT. Watch the new trailer below.
