Every year, a couple of breakout movies from Sundance make their way to Cannes, and in 2015 one of those selections is Rick Famuyiwa‘s "Dope." It’s slated to hit Cannes Directors’ Fortnight and a new trailer is here to bring right into the heart of Inglewood.
Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Blake Anderson, Zoe Kravitz, A$AP Rocky, Chanel Iman and Quincy Brown star in the sprawling crime-comedy about a trio of kids who get into a situation way over their heads. As they try to set things right, they also dream of bigger things beyond The Bottoms. We called it "something very close to a new classic."
