The second season of “True Detective” may have been a disappointing follow-up to the now legendary first season, but on the bright side it provided the internet with some always-needed fodder for snark. Even though we’re a few months past the second season finale, it seems there are those online who can’t let go of Vinci, California.

The folks over at the AV Club have pointed us toward a video from the folks at WorldWideInterwebs that has taken the second season from the pulpy crime world to the rom-com world, complete with cheesy pop songs. That’s right, instead of a convoluted web of corruption, the show is now cut as trailer for a light-hearted movie that follows the budding romance of Colin Farrell’s Ray Velcoro and Rachel McAdams’s Ani Bezzerides.
