Ezra Miller Deletes Social Media Account Following Allegations Of Harassing Another Minor

As if the current Ezra Miller saga couldn’t get any worse. After news broke last week that a North Dakota family had filed a legal order against Miller accusing the actor of grooming their daughter, A Massachusetts family came forward this week with similar allegations. Now, that mother and her 12-year-old child have a temporary harassment protection order against Miller. The ruling cites an incident in February where Miller acted inappropriately toward the child and menacingly brandished a gun at a gathering at their downstairs neighbor’s home.

The Daily Beast reports that the family was at their neighbor’s home in Greenfield, MA when Miller came inside. Miller was reportedly there because the neighbor is in a band with Whitney Suters, a musician who is close friends with Miller. According to the mother who filed the order, Miller showed up wearing a bulletproof vest and began acting erratically. Tensions first began brewing after the mother used the phrase “her tribe” about friends she had been traveling with recently, leading Miller to accuse her of cultural appropriation. Then, things got worse after Miller claimed the board game Parcheesi has Rastafarian roots, leading a half-black visiting neighbor to question Miller. Miller allegedly exploded into a rage, unzipped their jacket, showed a gun, and said, “Talking like that could get you into a really serious situation.”

Miller then shifted focus to the mother’s 12-year-old child, who, like Miller, identifies as non-binary. The mother claims Miller continually pestered her child, touching their hips, moving their chairs closer together, and requesting they add the actor on Instagram. The child’s mother and the visiting neighbor suspect Miller was under the influence at the time, given his dilated pupils and erratic behavior. Following the February incident, Miller also visited the family in late April, in May, and on June 4. In the most recent visit, Miller apparently showed up dressed as a cowboy and promised the child they would purchase several horses for them to care for at their Vermont farm. So, if that says anything, it’s that Miller’s grooming of minors is now a confirmed pattern of behavior.

In the wake of these new allegations, Miller deleted their verified Instagram account. Before they did so, however, Miller reportedly posted memes to the account with statements mocking authorities and the claims against him. Those statements include claiming to be in “another universe,” “another dimension,” and “being shielded from negative people & their ill intent.” No one has seen Miller since this most recent court order was filed on Thursday. So, with the deletion of their Instagram, it’s easy to assume that Miller wants to drop off the map for a bit.

Miller was having a tumultuous 2022 even before the allegations from the last two weeks. He was already arrested twice in Hawaii in March. In light of these incidents, Warner Bros. Discovery wants to “hit pause” on future projects with Miller.  And in light of this most recent court order, Miller may soon be on the Hollywood blacklist.
