'Fighting With My Family': Florence Pugh Drops The Finishing Move In Final Trailer

Did you ever think a 5’4 little English actress could pull off the role of a WWE star? Well, the 23-year-old Florence Pugh, the breakout star of “Lady Macbeth” and “The Little Drummer Girl,” may be tiny in size, but she has a massive presence, and that’s really more than enough to convince. Ever since her breakthrough turn in “Lady Macbeth,” she’s been bagging roles everywhere.

But before all that she’s playing WWE’s Superstar Paige in “Fighting With My Family,” a wrestling family dramedy that’s been extremely well-received at Sundance during its world premiere and since. Here’s the synopsis:

FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY is a heartwarming comedy based on the incredible true story of WWE Superstar Paige™. Born into a tight-knit wrestling family, Paige and her brother Zak are ecstatic when they get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to try out for WWE. But when only Paige earns a spot in the competitive training program, she must leave her family and face this new, cut-throat world alone. Paige’s journey pushes her to dig deep, fight for her family, and ultimately prove to the world that what makes her different is the very thing that can make her a star.

Directed by Stephen Merchant (co-writer and co-director of the British version of “The Office” and “Extras”), there’s a motley crew cast of characters in the film including Pugh, Lena Headey Nick Frost, Jack Lowden, Vince Vaughn, and Dwayne Johnson playing himself during his wrestling years.
