Jamie Bell & Margaret Qualley To Play Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers In New Biopic From Jonathan Entwistle

Last year, around this time, I kept beating the drum for the underrated, underseen drama, “Donnybrook.” The film is one of the best of 2019 and a feature that everyone should watch, if for no other reason than to see some of the best performances in the careers of Jamie Bell and Margaret Qualley. You’re definitely going to want to watch that film now because it appears that those two young actors are set to reunite in a new film, “Fred & Ginger.”

In addition to “Donnybrook,” Bell and Qualley have appeared in a number of great films. In the case of Bell, you can see him in features such as “Billy Elliot,” “King Kong,” “Snowpiercer,” and “Rocketman.” Qualley, on the other hand, is probably best known for her recent appearance in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” but can also be seen in projects like “The Nice Guys” and “The Leftovers.”

“Fred & Ginger” is the latest project from Entwistle, who is probably best known for his work as a producer on Netflix series such as “The End of the F*cking World” and “I’m Not Okay With This.” He also recently signed on to spearhead a new iteration of the “Power Rangers” franchise for Hasbro.

It’s unclear when “Fred & Ginger” will get into production, but with these people involved, you better believe it’ll be one of our most-anticipated films of the next couple of years.
