The team of showrunner Misha Green, and executive producers Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams bring you HBO‘s latest horror thriller, “Lovecraft Country” The show, set in 1950s Jim Crow America, centers a black man, his friend and Uncle who embark on a road trip in search of his missing father. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.
The series features Jonathan Majors, fresh off his breakout performance in “The Last Black Man in San Francisco,” and his about-to-be-starring turn in Spike Lee’s “Da 5 Bloods,” Jurnee Smollett-Bell who turned heads in “Birds Of Prey” as Black Canary plus Wunmi Mosaku, Aunjanue Ellis, Michael Kenneth Williams (“The Wire“) and Abbey Lee (“Mad Max: Fury Road“).
