So far, 2014 hasn’t given moviegoers a movie to really let loose with. But that all ends next week, when Seth Rogen and Zac Efron‘s “Neighbors” rocks the house, with the bawdy comedy coming in all its R-rated fury. And to get a sense of what you’re in for, the soundtrack should tip you off.
The dozen tracks barely stop for a moment, bringing the kind of stuff you might expect to be on a frat party playlist. So yeah, there’s Ke$ha, Icona Pop, Missy Elliott and Flo Rida bringing the ruckus. FIDLAR notches the garage rock niche (along with Black Keys who team on the Missy Elliott classic), while K’Naan offers the briefest moments of respite. Is it our cup of tea? Not necessarily, but then again, college is far behind us, so this wouldn’t be in our iTunes right now anyway.
The soundtrack is now available on iTunes. The movie drops on May 9th. Tracklist below.
