“Hung Up on a Dream”
1960s British rock band, The Zombies reflect on their musical path, from teenage friends to landing in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The documentary “Hung Up on a Dream” is directed by actor and musician Robert Schwartzman and features current members Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone, Steve Rodford, Tom Toomey, and Soren Koch. As well as former members Paul Atkinson, Chris White, and Hugh Grundy.
“American Born Chinese”
Based on the graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang, “American Born Chinese” tells the story of Jin Wang, an average teenager balancing high school, his social life, and his home life. After meeting a new international student at school, he soon finds himself entangled in a battle of Chinese mythical gods directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and Dinh Thai. The show stars Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Ke Huy Quan, Jimmy Liu, and Sydney Taylor, with Daniel Wu and Michelle Yeoh.
“Love & Death”
Telling the true story of Candy Montgomery, who was accused of the brutal ax murder of her friend Betty Gore in Texas in 1980. “Love & Death” stars Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Lily Rabe, Patrick Fugit, Krysten Ritter, Tom Pelphrey, Keir Gilchrist, and Elizabeth Marvel and is directed by Lesli Linka Glatter.
“Beef”
Starting with a road rage incident between Danny Cho and Amy Lau, they feud as their lives and relationships unravel. Directed by Jake Schreier (of Marvel’s upcoming “Thunderbolts“), Hikari, and showrunner Lee Sung Jin, “Beef” stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, Maria Bello, Joseph Lee, Young Mazino, David Choe, Patti Yasutake, Ashley Park, Justin H. Min, Mia Serafino, and Remy Holt.
