Starring Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult and Tye Sheridan, the film centers on a lone FBI agent (Law) who begins to believe that a series of bank robberies and car heists frightening communities in the Pacific Northwest are the work of a dangerous domestic terrorist and white supremacist group.

And over the weekend, he began trending after an interview with “Eternals” filmmaker Chloe Zhao was released, where the filmmaker not only credits Snyder for influencing her film, but she also compares his “Man of Steel” to the work of legendary filmmaker, Terrence Malick. 

When speaking to the French outlet, Pure Break, Zhao was asked if there was any inspiration from Superman comics that went into her development of the Eternals hero, Ikaris.

After a year with near-total silence, this month has seen not one, but two new developments in Terrence Malick‘s latest film, which is now reportedly getting the new title of “The Way of the Wind.”

The news comes from One Big Soul, the Malick Facebook fan site, which reports that the previous title of “The Last Planet” was actually a working title, and the actual title of the film is “The Way of the Wind.” This title is likely a reference to the Biblical passage Ecclesiastes 11:5, “As thou knowest not what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child; even so thou knowest not the work of God who doeth all.” This is a similar lesson to the one of Job which Malick already portrayed in “The Tree of Life,” which would make sense given the subject matter in “The Way of the Wind.”

As we already knew, Malick’s next film will be a biblical epic, telling the story of the life of Jesus Christ through a series of parables.

What’s going on with Terrence Malick’s “The Last Planet” movie about Jesus? Well, not much publicly anyhow. As usual, most of it is under the radar, but a new sign suggests it’s entering the post-production stages and perhaps inching towards completion (though with Malick, you never know). 

Film Soundtrack Reporter says Greek composer Eleni Karaindrou has written the original score for the upcoming drama. She is known for writing the score to Theodoros Angelopoulos’ 1995 Grand Jury Prize Cannes winner “Ulysses’ Gaze” and some of her existing music was used in both “Mad Max: Fury Road,” and Malick’s own “Voyage of Time: Life’s Journey” (the longer version with Cate Blanchett narration that never came out theatrically beyond film festivals).
