Watch: Captain America Talks Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver In 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Clip Plus New Featurettes

Avengers: Age Of UltronWe’re thirteen days out from the opening of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” – it begins screening early on April 30th, a day ahead of its official release date – which means we’re in the midst of being crushed by the marketing forces of Marvel and Disney. Today brings one new clip, cast and crew interviews from the press rounds, and a couple new featurettes on the film.

First up, ComicBookMovie brings us a short new clip with Captain America and Maria Hill – Chris Evans and Cobie Smulders, respectively – laying the expositional groundwork for the sibling villains Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver – Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. It’s quick and quippy with that trademark Joss Whedon banter.

For the less devout fans among us, you’re not imagining things, there has been another Quicksilver in a comic book movie before. Evan Peters played Quicksilver for Bryan Singer’s “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” but fear not, as Whedon’s Quicksilver explains in an interview with IGN that having the character’s sister in the film is what definitively sets the two interpretations apart. Taylor-Johnson says that you can’t have the definitive take with the siblings apart, “they’re yin and yang” and that relationship is key to understanding Quicksilver and, by virtue of their connection, Scarlet Witch.

Meanwhile, Marvel sat down with Joss Whedon to discuss what his favorite moment during filming was – shooting the final scene which “looked more like a comic book than anything I’ve shot [before]” – and once again talking about how great and important it was to shoot in so many different locations for the ‘Avengers’ sequel.

Finally, a new featurette has arrived online that explains how the team dynamic has changed since the first film – as Whedon wryly notes, it’s only changed in that a dynamic now exists between the team – and features Whedon, Kevin Feige, and the whole cast.

The long wait is nearly over and will officially end on May 1st when “Avengers: Age of Ultron” hits theaters everywhere. Watch the clip, interviews, and featurettes below plus a new TV spot.
