Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January, at hitting SXSW in the spring, the movie chronicles eight different people who suffer from night terrors and sleep paralysis, which finds them trapped in awakened states of semi-consciousness, where they witness truly horrific visions, but are unable to move. "The Nightmare" is currently screening at Hot Docs. It opens in limited release and hits VOD on June 5th.
