Watch: New Trailer For Fiery Shakespeare Tale 'Anarchy' (aka 'Cymbeline') With Ethan Hawke, Milla Jovovich & More

AnarchyWe get it, movie marketing sometimes demands you create a title that’s easy to sell, but we thing the folks behind "Anarchy" dropped the ball a bit. Formerly titled "Cymbeline," after the Shakespeare play on which it’s based, the new title is just vague, not the most Google friendly, and doesn’t give anybody an idea of what they’re getting into, except for violence. But we suppose invoking the name of The Bard might scare more people away than draw them in. At any rate, a new trailer is here to underscore that this ain’t no fussy stage production.

Starring Ethan Hawke, Ed Harris, Milla Jovovich, Penn Badgley, Anton Yelchin, John Leguizamo, Dakota Johnson, James Ransone, and Delroy Lindo (phew), and directed by Michael Almereyda (who helmed the 2000 take on "Hamlet," also featuring Hawke), the movie dives into a battle between motorcycle gangs, with corruption, drug dealing, and more all part of the equation. Does it work? Well, our review feared it was "creakily anachronistic," so take that for what it’s worth.

"Anarchy" arrives on VOD and in cinemas on March 13th. Watch below. [EW]
