Cannes: 3 Clips From Woody Allen's 'Café Society' With Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Steve Carell & Blake Lively

It’s not every filmmaker that has the biggest hit of their career at a time when many of their peers are winding down, but Woody Allen‘s 2011 comedy “Midnight In Paris” was the highest grossing of his career. The movie charmed audiences and critics with its trip back to the Paris jazz age, and the director’s upcoming “Café Society” looks to channel that same light-hearted, nostalgic vibe.

With its Cannes Film Festival premiere just a few days away, the first three clips from the movie have landed. Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Steve Carell and Blake Lively all feature in the glimpses of the movie that tells the story of a young man from New York who is dropped in the golden age of Hollywood. Frankly, this looks to be a little more loose and fun than the Coens’ somewhat stiff film industry throwback, “Hail, Caesar!,” from earlier this year.

“Café Society” will hit theaters this summer on July 29th. Check out one clip above, and two more below.
