First Look: Amber Heard As Mera In Zack Snyder's 'Justice League'

Warner Bros. continues their “You’ll like it, you’ll really like it!” campaign today for “Justice League,” which isn’t set to open until more than a year from now. At any rate, today comes the first look at Amber Heard as Mera, Queen of Atlantis, in Zack Snyder’s film. To be honest, I had actually totally forgotten the character was in the movie, and she’ll be angling for screen time alongside Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman. Plus the villain. In short, I’d wager it’s a supporting role at best, though as we saw in ‘Batman v Superman,’ even someone like Amy Adams managed to get shortchanged, so let’s hope the script gives everyone good material and room to play.
