If you’re wondering where Woody Allen‘s Annual Summer Movie is this year, well, you’re not getting one. Instead, the director is headed to the awards season with “Wonder Wheel,” and now the first official images are here.

Kate Winslet, Justin Timberlake, Juno Temple and James Belushi all star in the director’s latest, and as per usual, plot details are being kept secret for now. What we do know is that the film is set in the 1950s, and will feature larger-than-life characters, lovers, infidelity, and gangsters. Essentially, they are ingredients of past Allen pictures, remixed for something new, which isn’t too surprising for the filmmaker. But the one thing to watch out for is Winslet’s performance, which may be the reason why Amazon is gunning for the Oscars.
“Wonder Wheel” opens on December 1st.
