Get Addicted With The New Trailer For ‘T2 Trainspotting’

The distance between the person you’ve become and the youth you once were can be a gap that’s narrowed by the people you surround yourself with. Already open in the U.K. and other territories overseas, Danny Boyle‘s long-awaited sequel to his breakout hit “Trainspotting” is finally headed to U.S. shores, and a new trailer brings the gang back together — which includes Renton, Sick Boy, Spud, and Begbie — as they get reacquainted and likely deal with bad habits that have never quite gone away. Here’s the official synopsis:

First there was an opportunity……then there was a betrayal.

Twenty years have gone by. Much has changed but just as much remains the same. Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to the only place he can ever call home.

They are waiting for him: Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle).

Other old friends are waiting too: sorrow, loss, joy, vengeance, hatred, friendship, love, longing, fear, regret, diamorphine, self-destruction and mortal danger, they are all lined up to welcome him, ready to join the dance.

“T2: Trainspotting” opens on March 17th.
