'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2' Villain Reportedly Revealed, Plus More 'Thor: Ragnarok' Details

**Spoilers ahead** Next year will be an interesting one for Marvel, with the studio dropping “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” and “Thor: Ragnarok.” None of the films so far in either series has cracked the magic billion dollar mark, and they are certainly the weirder siblings to the mainline ‘Avengers’ flicks, but it seems they have big things in store for their next chapters.

The folks over at JoBlo have done some digging, and according to them, the villain for ‘Galaxy Vol. 2’ will be Ayesha. Also known from the comics as Her aka Kismet aka Paragon, she’s essentially the test tube creation of a bunch of scientists known as The Enclave, who seek to reset humanity with perfect beings. Of course, which elements James Gunn and co. choose to use isn’t yet known, nor is this official, but the speculation is that Ayesha will be played by Elizabeth Debecki, whose role in the movie hasn’t yet been revealed.

Meanwhile, “Thor: Ragnarok” will apparently be a mashup of storylines from Planet Hulk and Ragnarok, as you might have guessed. There will be gladiator battles, and new looks for both Hulk and Thor, with the former sporting some serious shoulder armor, and the latter apparently giving some of his golden locks a shave, while Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie will be sporting Native American style war paint. And while specifics haven’t been unveiled, it seems the plot will revolve around Thor having to find the ultimate weapon to stop Ragnarok, which fits into the standard Marvel template. Only this time around, it’s more buddy movie style.

Thoughts? Concerns? Let us know below. “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” opens on May 5, 2017 with “Thor: Ragnarok” following on November 3, 2017.
