Jordan Peele Is On 'The Hunt' For Nazis

Thanks to the huge success of “Get Out,” Jordan Peele has quickly established himself as one of this year’s biggest movers and shakers in the film world. The actor and director certainly conquered television thanks to “Key and Peele,” but his breakout horror hit showed he had a lot more gifts to share. And while his next feature isn’t due in cinemas until 2019, he’s flexing the creative clout he has in Hollywood. It was just a couple weeks ago that it was announced he’ll be producing Spike Lee‘s next feature, “Black Klansman.” Now, Peele has another provocative project in the works.

Peele is returning to TV, where he’ll be developing “The Hunt.” Inspired by true events, the ’70s set drama will follow a band of Nazi hunters, tracking and down and killing Nazis who have escaped justice, and have set themselves up with regular society, thanks to the help of the American government. So, basically….

We’re certainly interested, and given the political climate at the moment, the timing couldn’t be better. David Weil will be writing the script, and co-producing alongside Peele, and it’s not a big surprise to learn that several networks are already taking an interesting in “The Hunt.”
