Teaser Poster/Concept Art Revealed For Wes Anderson's 'Isle Of Dogs'

When Wes Anderson officially introduced the world to his next movie, the animated “Isle Of Dogs,” earlier this month, the announcement came tagged with an opportunity to enter for your chance to win a voice role in the film. By going to Crowdrise and paying $10 for each entry, you got a shot to win the big prize (plus some cool runner up prizes), with all proceeds going to Martin Scorsese‘s non-profit The Film Foundation. But that’s not all…

For those of you with very deep pockets, Crowdrise also had an opportunity to purchase a limited edition “Isle Of Dogs” print of concept, signed by Wes Anderson, all for the cool price of $10,000. And it’s from there where this new look at the film has emerged, which indicates quite a different artistic direction for the upcoming movie, at least when compared to “Fantastic Mr. Fox.”

Featuring the voices of  F. Murray Abraham, Bob Balaban, Bud Cort, Bryan Cranston, Greta Gerwig, Jeff Goldblum, Akira Ito, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Keitel, Bill Murray, Kunichi Nomura, Edward Norton, Yoko Ono, Koyu Rankin, Liev Schreiber, Tilda Swinton, Akira Takayama and Frank Wood, the movie is set in Japan and follows a boy’s odyssey in search of his dog. And I guess we have our first look at the young protagonist in this teaser.

“Isle Of Dogs” will open in 2018.
