“The Colors Within”
Following her films “A Silent Voice,” “Liz and the Blue Bird,” and her anime series “The Heike Story,” director Naoko Yamada returns for her latest, the slice-of-life animated film, “The Colors Within.” The film follows three teenagers, one of which has synaesthesia, as they navigate their adolescence and home lives while forming a band. Yamada reunites with screenwriter Reiko Yoshida and composer Kensuke Ushio.
Release Date: In theaters January 24 via GKIDS.
“You’re Cordially Invited”
Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon star in the latest comedy from writer and director Nicholas Stoller (“Platonic.”) The film follows a bride and her father as they realize that her dream wedding venue has been double booked by another bride and her wedding-planning sister. Geraldine Viswanathan and Meredith Hagner also star.

“No Other Land”
The critically acclaimed documentary “No Other Land” finally gets a theatrical release this month. The documentary, directed by Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, follows the destruction of the occupied West Bank’s Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers, and the alliance struck between Basel and Yuval.
Release Date: In theaters January 31.
“Love Me”
Following its premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, the post-apocalyptic “Love Me,” starring Steven Yeun and Kristen Stewart arrives in theaters. Directed by Sam and Andy Zuchero, the film follows a love story between a buoy and a satellite who meet online after humanity’s extinction.
