“Minx”
The biggest story around the sex worker, erotic magazine, and porn-industry series “Minx” might be that it was resurrected and brought back from the dead. Once an HBO Max series (sorry, MAX), “Minx” was beloved by critics and its small following, but then promptly canceled at Max during the save money David Zaslav cutbacks of 2022. However, the series was in a unique position that it was mostly complete and shot. So, “Minx” was eventually rescued by STARZ, where it lives today. Set in 1970s Los Angeles, “Minx” centers an earnest young feminist around (Ophelia Lovibond) who joins forces with a low-rent publisher (Jake Johnson) to create the first erotic magazine for women. Season two picks up where it all left off, taking the cast off to a thrilling new place of more money, fame, and temptation than anyone knows how to handle.
Release Date: Season 2 premieres July 21 on Starz.

Stephanie Beatriz stars as Quiet, a car thief, with Thomas Haden Church, Samoa Joe, Will Arnett, Richard Cabral, and Neve Campell also starring.
