Speak No Evil
Following its critical success in 2022, it’s no surprise that the Danish film “Speak No Evil” is getting an American remake. Directed by James WatkinsJames McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, Dan Hough, and Scoot McNairy all star in this adaptation. The horror film follows two families who escape to a country cabin, where their holiday descends into chaos. 
Release Date: In theaters September 13 via Universal Pictures.

My Old Ass
Maisy Stella and Aubrey Plaza star in the latest film from Megan Park (“The Fallout”), the coming-of-age comedy “My Old Ass.” Stella plays the younger version of the protagonist, Elliot, who is advised by an older version of herself (Plaza) not to fall in love. However, that advice is soon put to the test when she meets the boy that her older self warned her about. Percy Hynes White, Maddie Ziegler, and Kerrice Brooks also star. (Read our review).

The Substance
One of the most buzzed-about movies from recent film festivals, “The Substance,” looks to shock a wider audience with its upcoming release. Demi Moore stars in this feminist body horror picture about an aging star who is fired from her aerobics show on her 50th birthday. The film, from director Coralie Fargeat (“Revenge”), follows her as she starts to inject a mysterious “substance” that promises to make her the best version of herself. Transformers One
Despite the many live-action movies that are a part of the Transformers franchise, “Transformers One” marks the first animated film in the franchise since 1986, “The Transformers: The Movie.” “Transformers One,” directed by Josh Cooley (“Toy Story 4”), follows the early relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron and how the two change the fate of Cybertron. The cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm. (Read our review)

Wolfs
Brad Pitt and George Clooney team up for the first time in 16 years in the action-comedy “Wolfs.” Directed by Jon Watts (the MCU “Spider-Man” trilogy), the film follows two professional fixers forced to work together after being hired for the same job.
