The American Society of Magical Negroes
A satirical comedy about the ‘Magical Negro’ trope written and directed by Kobi Libii, the film centers on a young black man who is recruited into a magical society of African Americans to follow their lifelong cause: to make the lives of white people easier. Justice Smith and David Alan Grier star alongside An-Li Bogan, Drew Tarver, Michaela Watkins, Aisha Hinds, Tim Baltz, Rupert Friend, and Nicole Byer (read our review)

Arthur The King
Mark Wahlberg stars in the the adventure films “Arthur the King.” The film is based on the 2016 novel “Arthur – The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home” by Mikael Lindnord. The story follows the Wahlberg as a captain of an adventure racing team, who befriends a wounded stray dog. Simu Liu and Juliet Rylance also star in the film directed by Simon Cellan Jones

“One Life
James Hawes directs “One Life,” which follows the character Nicholas “Nicky” Winton, who, fifty years following World War II, is still haunted by all the children he wasn’t able to help save by helping them cross the border from Czechoslovakia. The film stars both Anthony Hopkins and Johnny Flynn Nicky as the film follows both time periods. Helena Bonham Carter, Lena Olin, Jonathan Pryce, Romola Garai, Alex Sharp, and Samantha Spiro also star.

The Animal Kingdom
Thomas Cailley directs the fantasy drama film “The Animal Kingdom,” written by Cailley and Pauline Munier. The film follows a family living in a world struck by a wave of mutations where humans begin to transform into animals. Romain Duris plays François, a man who is trying to save his wife from this affliction, especially as creatures begin to disappear into a nearby forest. Paul Kircher and Adèle Exarchopoulos also star.

“Road House
In a new reimagination of the Patrick Swayze movie, a former UFC middleweight fighter ends up working at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys where things are not as they seem. Doug Liman directs Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Jessica Williams, Joaquim de Almeida, Austin Post, and Conor McGregor.
Release Date: March 21 via Prime Video.
