There’s not a lot different from this trailer that wasn’t already shown this weekend in the teaser trailer, but there’s shots of all the German high command, (Hitler, Goebbels, etc.), Mike Myers and more. Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” comes out August 21. Also this movie spoils the whole movie, really. Buyer beware. Here’s our review from Cannes, we didn’t love it much, it’s a little dry and visually flat. It’s written like a novel, which works amazingly on the page, but doesn’t translate so well onto the screen. Oh yeah, this trailer unveils the one, unaccounted for Basterd solider. There was 10 of them and we discovered who this funny-looking dude was. None of the music in this trailer is in the film, though we’re not completely 100% about that last song. We’d have to cross reference the soundtrack list, but don’t think so. Update: oh, the song in the second half is by Indiana, Americana rockers, Murder By Death and the song is called, “Coming Home.” You can here it on its own here.
