We’re hearing from a good source in the know that Brad Pitt’s basically been sewn up play Lt. Aldo Raine in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglorious Bastards.”
Obviously, Nikki Finke broke the news that QT was seeking Pitt and the two of them were in talks, but it appears that it’s mostly a done deal that just needs the particulars worked out (both of them want it).
An announcement will probably come shortly and probably at least until after Comic-Con.
This is good news considering Pitt is perfect for the role of the Aldo the Apache. Now if only Leonard DiCaprio somehow gets dropped out of the picture. He’s certainly no good to play Hans Landa. PS. We’re hearing two more roles that haven’t been announced cause they’re still in the planning stages. Fuck, we can’t say anything about them, but we can say one is fine and one is dreadful. We hope it doesn’t happen.
