Watch: Epic New Footage & TV Spot From 'The Dark Knight Rises' Arrives; Film Will Reportedly Be 2 Hours 45 Minutes Long

nullUpdate #2: The footage is now back, crisp and without the cheering of young tweens. Watch below.

Update: WB has been swiftly removing this footage as it shows up on the web. Seems they don't want anyone to actually see it for some reason.

"The Avengers" is now one of the biggest movies of all time, and "Prometheus" is already killing it overseas and drops into theaters stateside next weekend, which leaves "The Dark Knight Rises" as the last big, hugely anticipated blockbuster of the summer season. And tonight during the MTV Movie Awards, Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale appeared in person to present new footage from the film exclusively to close off the show. And yes, this thing looks fucking epic.

Running just under two minutes, this is a batch of mostly new footage (courtesy of Batman News) featuring lots of Tom Hardy's menacing Bane and Anne Hathaway's craft Catwoman mixed in with some older stuff, that gives another closer look at the movie without giving away any of the secrets. We'll leave it to you guys to break it down — anything in there that particularly stood out for you? But we'll also add this bit of info which should surely up the excitement level: the folks over at Collider have noticed that AMC has posted a running time for the film of a staggering 2 hours and 45 minutes. You might want to hold off on that jumbo soda. And even more, on July 19th, AMC will be hosting a Batman marathon topping off with a midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises. Tickets go on sale June 11th.

So take a look below along with a brand new TV spot for the film as well. "The Dark Knight Rises" opens on July 20th.
