New Images From 'The Hobbit,' 'Snow White And The Huntsman' & 'Wrath Of The Titans'

nullHere's a quick coffee break post for you today — some new images from a few of 2012's big blockbusters are here to try and stoke your anticipation, and get you out on opening weekend. So let's take a look…

We've been surprised by just how quickly the marketing campaign for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" has gone into full swing. We were expecting to see a teaser trailer just before Christmas and we ended up being treated to a big-ass trailer complete with singing dwarves. We've also seen a quite a few images of the film already, and now there's one more to take a look at featuring Martin Freeman's Bilbo alongside Bifur (William Kircher), Dwalin (Graham McTavish), Bofur (James Nesbitt), and Oin (John Callen) — which we totally knew just by looking and in no way had to Google. The first part of Bilbo's journey begins on December 14th 2012.

One movie that we're cautiously optimistic about is "Snow White and the Huntsman," and not just because of how favorably its trailer compared to the abject efforts from Tarsem's "Mirror, Mirror." The first trailer featured a whole lot of Charlize Theron's evil Queen Ravenna, some brilliant visuals, and hinted at a simple but effective plot. Unfortunately we're yet to hear any dialogue from Kristen Stewart's Snow White or get a closer look at the excellently cast group of dwarves (Ian McShane, Johnny Harris, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Brian Gleeson, Ray Winstone and Nick Frost) and unfortunately a couple of new images doesn't scratch either of those itches. We get another look at Stewart but also at Sam Claflin's Prince William — and judging by the gormless look on his face he'll have a tough job winning over "the fairest of them all." Update: The film's Facebook page has dropped another image of Charlize Theron looking amazing.

How is it that the candid and likable Sam Worthington seems so interesting off-screen, yet proves to be such a charisma-vacuum on it? Aiming to bolster his on-screen personality, Worthington has grown his hair longer for this year's sequel to "Clash of the Titans" in which Titans Will Wrath (or something like that), and you can check out his luscious curly locks in the new images for "Wrath of the Titans." There's also an image featuring Tony Kebbell who has impressed recently in "War Horse" and in the U.K. series "Black Mirror," and one showing a virtually unrecognizable Rosamund Pike who replaces Alexa Davalos in the role of Andromeda. We'll find out whether this sequel is as god-awful (pun intended) as its predecessor on March 30th. [Yahoo/HeyUGuys/Collider]nullnullnullnullnullnull
