British actor Tom Hiddleston is rumored to be joining Woody Allen’s upcoming Paris-set romantic drama.
The film currently has Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard and Rachel McAdams attached to star in what will be the third film of Allen’s deal with Spanish financeers, Mediapro. French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was also attached but is now evidently “far from certain” to appear.
Hiddleston’s potential casting would certainly make for a big year for the actor as he is also currently shooting for Kenneth Branagh’s “Thor” as antagonist, Loki. The relatively unknown actor previously made a name for himself on London’s West End before breaking out in the Branagh-starring BBC drama “Wallander.”
Shooting on Allen’s romantic drama will begin this summer.
