‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’ Trailer: Martin Scorsese’s Latest Arrives In Theaters This Friday

One of the biggest movie events of the year is almost here: Martin Scorsese‘s “Killers Of The Flower Moon” hits theaters this Friday. And to keep the hype machine humming and turning, Apple Original Films has a final trailer for Scorsese’s film, with all-new scenes not seen in previous previews.

Based on David Grann‘s 2017 book of the same name, “Killers Of The Flower Moon” follows the Osage County murders that shook Oklahoma in the 1920s through a marriage at the center of them.  

Here’s an official synopsis for the film, courtesy of Apple Original Films:

At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), “Killers of the Flower Moon” is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal. 

Along with DiCaprio and Gladstone, “Killers Of The Flower Moon” also stars Robert De NiroJesse PlemonsJohn LithgowBrendan Fraser, and Tantoo Cardinal.  Cara Jade MyersJaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion also star.  

Along with directing, Scorsese co-pens the film’s screenplay with Eric Roth.
