Teresa Palmer and Nicholas Hoult have now been confirmed for George Miller’s ‘Mad Max’ sequel “Fury Road” and will be joined by actresses Zoe Kravitz and Adelaide Clemens.
As we previously reported, Palmer was accidentally unveiled by actor Jay Baruchel as “the main chick” in Miller’s sequel though it seems like Baruchel may have been talking his “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” co-star up a bit with Charlize Theron still on board to lead along with Tom Hardy.
Miller, though, has already shown strong favoritism towards Palmer, casting her in his “Justice League” film before she even broke out internationally, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see her still qualify as “the main chick” playing the love interest with Theron as the villain or something.
The film will reportedly be set a short while after the story detailed in 1985’s “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome” with Hoult playing a character named Nux and the trio of Palmer, Kravitz and Clemens part of a convoy being chased by the bad guys. Major details continue to be kept under wraps.
Filming is set to begin this summer in Australia.
