We can’t believe that we’re already looking at “The Angry Birds Movie 3” coming this holiday season, as the video game adaptation is boasting a family-centric plot this time around with John Rice directing from a script written by Thurop Van Orman (“Powerpuff Girls,” “Adventure Time”), who co-directed the last movie with Rice.
The voice cast assembled for the pic features talent such as Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Emma Myers, Rachel Bloom, Walker Scobell, Danny McBride, Marcello Hernández, Tim Robinson, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, MrBeast, Salish Matter, Psalm West, Sam Richardson, James Austin Johnson, Lily James, and Keke Palmer.

A brief synopsis for the third animated installment via Paramount Pictures:
“This holiday season, one angry bird will face his greatest challenge yet, surviving fatherhood… while saving the world!”
You might not know this, but Rice is a longtime veteran of the world of animated television, having helmed episodes of “Beavis & Butt-Head,” “Rick & Morty,” and “King of the Hill” (also, a character designer for “The Simpsons” in the early ’90s).
John Cohen, Dan Chuba, Carla Connor, and Namit Malhotra lead a producing team that also consists of a batch of exec producers like Louis Koo, Toru Nakahara, Ben Mattes, Hanna Valkeapää-Nokkala, Crosby Clyse, Chris Pflug, Simon Hedges, Christopher Milburn, Jamey Heath, Paul Kang, Geneva Wasserman, and Cathy Boxall.
You can watch that new trailer and poster for “The Angry Birds Movie 3” below, as the animated flick arrives in theaters on December 23. Making it a great holiday option for families with younger audiences in hand, since we’re going to be inundated with mature movies expected around that time, with “Avengers: Doomsday,” “Dune: Part 3,” and “Werwulf” being more of a draw for older moviegoers.
