Major shake-up is happening over the relationship between D.C. Comics and Warner Bros. Lots of restructuring, etc.
Big changes are afoot. Paul Levitz steps down. Warner Bros. has formed D.C. Entertainment Inc., a new company to focus on D.C. Comics franchise movies and now WB’s Jeff Robinov is in charge.
Nikki Finke seems to have the dirt and says, “I’ve also learned that Robinov for months has quietly gone to producers like Chuck Roven and Joel Silver and Akiva Goldman and ‘called back; all their high profile D.C. titles in development like The Flash and Wonder Woman.”
This is good news if you’re people like us and think Silver and Goldman are total hacks (which they are), so they won’t be able to destroy these super hero adaptations if and when they come to pass. More on this as it develops, a.k.a., as we finally take the time to read it all and net out what it all means (i.e. another writer picks up where I left off…)
